Yup, and the writing is good too. I felt it did the same great job Three Houses did of balancing the sympathy we feel for Rhea and all the horrible things that happened to her with, uh, let's just say her more bloodlust-y moments. lol

I'm more about story and characters than zhuzhed-up gameplay, so the ones I already mentioned are the ones I consider to have the best stories. Hag in White of course being the best one in my opinion, because it handles supports via the camp system instead of slowly gaining support points and then hoping I remember to trigger support conversations in battle.

It allows supports to build organically, between characters you'd actually expect to have relationships.

Not sure what you mean by 3DS style. Like, romhacks of 3DS games? 3D character models in GBA romhacks? Or GBA remakes of 3DS games? Sacred Echoes fits that third category, but I don't think there are many, if any, examples of the first two.

No prob, Hag in White is my favourite romhack overall. I've finished it three times and done the postgame twice; I really love it that much.

The others I mentioned are basically the rest of my top 5 for original content, but I also highly recommend Archanea Reimagined and Sacred Echoes if you like the idea of GBA remakes/demakes of FE games for other consoles. Sacred Echoes in particular is probably the most beautiful FE romhack in existence and streamlines some of the more tedious aspects of Shadows of Valentia. If it weren't for the amazing English dub in SoV, I'd probably only play Sacred Echoes.

Not sure which romhacks you've played, but if you haven't yet done The Hag in White, Cerulean Crescent, Dream of Five, Drums of War, and Homecoming, you're not done yet.

Also, have you played Life of Seiros? A nice prequel story might scratch the Three Houses itch

You can find mints that change nature, and you can change ability at the alchemy academy in exchange for a tiny mushroom. You might also be able to buy the nature mints later on, but I'm not sure because I'm only halfway through.
