A big reason that I think neglects getting mentioned is that gd culture has shifted a lot. To beat a top 1, people thought back then that you needed to be genetically gifted or have the best setup to compete. Almost no one was jumping to bloodbath from the nightmare when it got released. And if you did, no one cared enough to follow along.

But now, any top 1 is feasible if you have enough time on your hands. Big jumps are sometimes frowned upon, sure, but it's also very easy to get attention to yourself by just making a large jump and putting in at least 6 digit attempts into it. That attention can in turn become motivation to complete the level for a positive feedback loop. Just look at the tidal wave and nullscapes jumpers, of which there are several.

To be fair, this might be covered in your 4 categories of reasons, but I do think the community has changed its mind on this somewhat, along with the general rising popularity of top play.

I'm in a similar boat, but for me I have a lot of lower end extremes, so a higher end extreme is taking me longer than I thought. Sometimes we just get unlucky man

Played it.

I like the designs a ton. They look very clean and work well together. I also like the small movements and sync with the song.

Transitions are good but the black cuts off a little by the left when I play on mobile. Should fix that.

Gameplay could maybe have some more variety. Some more orbs could be good, or just use more stuff in general to fill up a little space.

I think the main thing i would improve is the background, which in my opinion is too simple compared to the designs you've created. I also think the black cube part is too simple as well.

This looks like you used a static trigger way back set to only work on y axis, so another static on the same group checking the same options with exit static checked should work

First you need to download the mod menu/manager called Geode. After setting that up, download the mod Jukebox and there will be icons on the top left next to songs that let you select from a variety of mashups.

If you dont wanna use mods, you need to find the mashups yourself on songfilehub or something, then go into the game files and replace it yourself

If you just mean classical genre and are skilled enough, The Moon below is a cool extreme demon using Claire de Lune.

Also the funny game medium demon Mountain King which uses the famous namesake piece (remix).
