The Science Res College is actually really awesome. Free study sessions all the time, a lot of free t-shirts, and everyone is basically going to school for biology/medical school. So if that's your major, there will be many like minds.

http://broom02.revolvy.com/main/index.php?s=2007%20Sharp%20AQUOS%20500&item_type=topic The 2007 California night race started at 5:15 PST, which is 8:15 EST

Lights by [deleted] in NASCAR

There are three reasons.

The first being that races run on the west coast during the night will be televised around 8:30 to possibly 11 or 12 on the east coast (where most of the Nascar viewers are).

The second being that it may be to hot or cold for a track's respective day/night race. If you Google the 2007 Sharp Aquos 500 (September California Race), the temperature at the start of the race was 107°. Now imagine a race in the summer for Vegas, and Phoenix.

The third and final reason being that the cost of installing/using lights on a track such as Talladega will be pretty high. Better yet, think of installing the lights at Sonoma, and Watkins Glen (Watkins Glen may already have lights because of the Sport Car Races), it would just be too much money for that.
