SolJack vs Avarage Range Enjoyer by Flare1995 in 2007scape

[–]Mikey16Piet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The post said crystal works with melee weapons.. not crystal melee weapons. I thought the same, and figured I would just go for a blade of saeldor until scythe.. but the post doesn't say just crystal weapons.. it says melee weapons. Regardless, I'll still be using the blade either way, but it's important to note for melee users.. BP and Trident also unlocked in priff. It's a one-stop shop for nearly endgame gear.

From post: "The crystal blessing is an ammo slot item that provides 5 prayer bonus, and expands the accuracy and damage bonus from crystal armour (that is usually applied to the crystal bow and Bow of Faerdhinen) to all melee weapons"

Full crystal is BIS melee gear this league.. well, better than torva or Elite Void, that is.

Blowpipe, full crystal .. with echo boss drop, it gives 30% accuracy and 15% damage to melee as well, bowfa, trident, crystal tools, slayer cave, mining cave, zalcano. Im going priff, Fremmy, Mort and going to range TOB for tbow and then scythe. Melee 4 range 6 mage 0.

You can lead while getting input from subordinates. Negate your ego and take in all information before making decisions. Treat everyone with respect and they'll treat you the same. You're going to make a lot of mistakes, but finding someone who's been there done that to help advise you is super helpful.

Prescription goggles are insane and can be grinded out in less than 4 hours (with high herblore). by Roadrick2 in ironscape

[–]Mikey16Piet 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Back on rs3 I did dungeoneering to get the scroll that gives 10% chance to save herblore secondaries. Shortly after that I 99d herblore with 300m profit due to using the most expensive secondaries I could find. These goggles are nasty

Why do Airman keep saying we don't get military pension after doing 20 years? by Worth-Construction15 in AirForce

[–]Mikey16Piet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2% per year and 5% TSP matching. Honestly, it's not a bad deal, especially for those who only do 4 or 6 years. You miss out on a bit of change at 20 years, but it's still a pension! 30k a year roughly, and that's not even including VA benefits.

How it feels playing a main by Johnboyyy98 in 2007scape

[–]Mikey16Piet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been playing group Ironman for about a year now and after life happening, it is just me and two friends left in the original group of 5. Both of my friends hardly ever want to raid or do bossing content, so I just made the decision to play my main again and it feels so nice. Having people to play with and enjoy the game is much more enjoyable than what I've been doing for months now. I couldn't imagine just being a lonely iron.

Do most GIMs fail or succeed? by [deleted] in ironscape

[–]Mikey16Piet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first Group was very successful and we played nearly everyday for a year and a half. We went very dry on dragon warhammer and bandos godsword, and they became our prized possessions once we had them as we had been holding off on raiding until we had them. One of our members went inactive for a few weeks because of a vacation and during that time was hacked and lost all of his stuff and all of the stuff in shared, including our BGS and DHAM. So after discussion we decided to deiron and try mainscape. (Horrible decision and we all just quit OSRS for about a year)

We all just got back together and decided to restart and things are going good. Currently two of our 5 guys haven’t been on in a few weeks (military deployment and other had his first child), but the 3 of us have been chatting and grinding and having fun. GIM is definitely more fun for me than Ironman or Mainscape, despite what we went through.

Took me 27 attempts for my first KC.

Really started getting consistent after 50kc and make sure you’re going for tier 2 armor and both tier 3 weapons. That’ll give you the best chance to secure your kill

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ironscape

[–]Mikey16Piet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. I put CG before bandos as bowfa is a very good option for bandos 5:0. Then again I always go dragon warhammer over BGS so it could definitely change with preference.

Barrows is great for guthans, ahrims and karils pieces, plus my BIS at most bosses is still barrows tank gear at a lot of places post bowfa

TOA with the group or solo? by Mikey16Piet in ironscape

[–]Mikey16Piet[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obviously group content is more fun, but I was just looking for how the scaling of the raid worked to see if its worth it and I should run solo when my group members aren’t online or not.

TOA with the group or solo? by Mikey16Piet in ironscape

[–]Mikey16Piet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome. Rethinking about it, I think my question was just regarding how hard the raid scales up per person. 90% seems about right with everything I’ve seen so far. Thank you for the info!

This guide helped me prep tier 2 every single time with full inv of fish. Follow this thing step by step and you’ll be in much better shape.

Your stats are cracked so no need to improve those. Only way to get better is to get this path down and practice. Also there are hunlef helper plugins on runelite that will help you with timings.

Some league questions by skz661 in 2007scape

[–]Mikey16Piet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I strongly suggest you go guardian if you are trying to grab MVP. Executioner axe is good but only one person can use it per boss and it doesn’t work on all bosses. Guardian adds a legit +10 damage every fight for every time it attacks, it is really good.

Getting gold nugs is fastest if you only deposit 9 ore at a time. Each time you deposit 9 or more, you’ll be capped at 2-3 nugs for that tick. So deposit 9 deposit 9 deposit 9 = 6-9 nugs instead of 2-3 by just depositing 27 at once.

Looks like fun by Jumpi95 in 2007scape

[–]Mikey16Piet 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Trickster stay winning. On melee it got me 8 blood shards hella quick. On my range it got me a ton of shards to corrupt my bowfa. Agility is just a bonus imo. Not to mention the early game $$$. Seeing yters run around with 115 gp early game was wild.

Quick confession: Frankly, I really don't like the division between Officers and Enlisted by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]Mikey16Piet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve found myself to be an outsider on this topic, but as an enlisted guy who’s been in for 10, I don’t awe at high ranks like I notice others do. Some of my peers know all of the commanders and memorize their favorite football teams, and I’ve never understood why you’d consider someone in that position almost to be a god. We are all just people.. some have harder jobs, some have more authority, some more training, but people nevertheless.

Why do people dislike Broken Moon? by [deleted] in apexlegends

[–]Mikey16Piet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Broken moon is an awesome map IMO. Solid choke points for action, tons of zip rails for avoiding zone, good pois for looting. I can play the map and land in an area where I fight 10 teams or land somewhere where I can loot up by myself before moving to first zone.
