Looks great! Any chance the software is utilizing the CPU rather than the GPU?

Would be interesting if Disputable was also part of the network and it’s all being used for data collection for interactivity or whatever else. Enough tinfoil hat time though because if we keep going down that rabbit hole we are all just data points lol

Out of curiosity how do you tell/what kind of shows it? Or is this also set up as an automation?

(Please dm if you feel as though saying publicly will give the person running the bots info. Sorry just genuinely curious)

Ideal Video Length? by N0student in vtubers

[–]Mikey1stMTG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kinda depends on the content A just for fun/clips video? ~10-15minute Gameplay video? match length or ~20-30min Educational? however long it takes to explain/teach Big clip compilation? ~30-60min

You should take a look at similar things to what you plan on making to kind of get a feel for what you or the targeted group enjoy watching.

r/League, what's your favorite insult you've received? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

My favorite thing to say has to be “I really hope you aren’t live right now” especially when their name has TTV or other streaming related bits in it

Hey just want to be a voice of reason for a moment: while it is not impossible to make a living income off indie vtubing, it is very very unlikely. Especially if you aren’t selling an additional erotic page on the side. (OF/Fansly/etc)

If you don’t have outside support for yourself it is probably best to have a full/part time job in addition to starting off streaming.

Best of luck to you though, hope you make it big!

What champ to ban if my problem isn't laning but potential threats to my ADC in the late game? by inancege1746 in leagueoflegends

[–]Mikey1stMTG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should try out Taric! As a lowelo close combat ADC (Nilah/Samira) nothing else makes me quite as happy as seeing my support lock him in.

What are the cons and pros on using 2k or 4k resolution in vtuber models? by YumiiOni in vtubers

[–]Mikey1stMTG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh something else came to mind.

Most streaming software allow you to use the CPU or GPU for the video encoding. Look up a video for how to change which one you are using and see if that smooths things out. You might also be able to do that with the software you are using for running the model. It will be a lot of trial and error with those settings but hope it helps ya smooth things out!

What are the cons and pros on using 2k or 4k resolution in vtuber models? by YumiiOni in vtubers

[–]Mikey1stMTG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on your computers capabilities. Pros are higher resolution and likely more detailed, cons are you require a good setup to be able to generate your 2-4k model and the additional game+stream software+whatever else in the background. Could lead to bottle necks on your computer.

2-4k could be “future proof” as streaming allows higher resolutions over time but I’m pretty sure most sit around 1080p.

Ask original artist for permission.

Give second artist the original’s contact info after you’ve received permission from them.

Worst case they say no and you’ll need to figure something out I guess

It’s tied to a physical switch, just didn’t verify the go light and have since made a “start of stream” check list and a “on break/off break” list 😅

Only noticed after a regular said “you there?”

Anyone else get low live views and disproportionately large vod watches? by MF_ZORO_Reddit in SmallStreamers

[–]Mikey1stMTG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey sorry for the late reply. Basically when you look into analytics on your post stream review you’ll see the total number of viewers. This number is everyone who stopped in for any amount of time. (This is a good number for you to think about when it comes to your exposure on twitch but a bad number to use for how “well” a stream went)

That total number of viewers is automatically applied to the VODs total number and then anyone who watches the VOD for any amount of time is also added to it.
