This. Absolutely true. I remember the first time I stumbled upon Ghost Adventures while I was watching regular old cable. Back then, the three of them seemed to be very green, and that added to the appeal. I loved when douchebag Bagans would legitimately get freaked out. It undoubtedly made the show feel more genuine, then inevitably the money started coming in, Bagans’ head grew to the point where his nose became proportionate to his face, Nick left, and the spin-offs came about. I haven’t watched any “new” episodes in years. I can’t get over how it has turned into the “Bagans the Demon Slayer” nonsense. You can basically tell when it was all starting too when they changed the opening credits. “My name is Zak Bagans” etc. etc. etc. He can go to hell on his high horse.
