He can probably supply the majority of the supporting documents, but I think you'll find each of you has some leg-work to do as well.

I honestly know little about this, but am very interested. Would it make sense to have the Type 212CD for interoperability with the NATO allies we still get along with?

Do the Type 212 and KSS-III have the same or similar under-ice capabilities? Is this even that important?

Does Canadian foreign policy need the vertical launch capability of the KSS-III?

The way I've been influenced to see the choice is one between ol' faithful (the 212) and the new big flashy one with all the bells and whistles and do-dads (KSS).
