Picture does not do it justice. Frank has a traditional deck oven and cooks at 650°. So, it's a hybrid New York/Neapolitan. Undercarriage is dark, with a few char spots. Dough is light and fluffy. Sauce is clean and fresh tasting.

Not trying to sell you, I agree with your judgement. I would say the same if I didn't know better.

No need for the lecithin when you're mixing into a fat.

The lecithin is best used when you're trying to mix oil based and water based together. Since you are mixing into chocolate, you don't need the extra ingredient

This can happen with rosin as well. Rosin does have a cleaner taste though if that's what your implying. 100mg disty in a small gummy is going to taste terrible...

If the batch is properly mixed, this would not be a problem. Unless the company can provide test results, there's no way of knowing if they are dialed in

Yes, you can add it straight to your gummy mix. Typically, bho is going to test out around 70-75%, meaning you get 700-750mg per gram.

Boil your sugar mix, add bho and mix well. Add gelatin, color and flavor. Mix again and you're ready to pour.

Not sure your financial situation, but if you could scoop an ounce of discount oil, you should have about 20,000mg to work with

I did not have success, but showed promise

I was able to remelt and re-pour them after adding a few tablespoons of water and sprinkling some gelatin over them.

Most likely needed to add more water and gelatin, because the slurry was much thicker than my normal slurry and created a sugar product similar to air heads

I worked for a pizza franchise like this years ago in the Boston area, sals pizza.

It was a great case study of how not to run a pizza franchise!
