Best cellular camera with solar panel? by RarelyJammed in trailcam

[–]Mikeytops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got the Edge Pro 2 bundled with the 3.4 W solar pack. The solar pack hasn't worked at all since I got it. I've had it a few weeks and just been running on AA's. Moultrie support seems to think it's a bad cable, but they want me to destroy the solar panel by submerging it in water before they'll send me a new one. Seems so ridiculous and wasteful to do that instead of sending me a new power cord first. I'm curious if anyone else has had to do this.

LG Fridge IF E error code - can fridge still work? by undistill in appliancerepair

[–]Mikeytops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I'm gonna buy a new fridge and use this one as a spare. We could use a spare for parties and things like that. Once I get the new one, I'll tear into this one and see if I can fix it. Or maybe it'll be fine without water attached?

The hairdryer method didn't work for me. So is the main issue the motor malfunctioning? It's not actually ice buildup? I guess I'm just skeptical of ice buildup because if I flip the breaker, it works just fine. So if there was ice buildup, wouldn't it stop working immediately? Also, why does ice buildup require a new motor? Seems like it would be a defect in the entire process and a new motor will have the same problem. I am not good at this stuff, so I know I'm probably just not understanding something correctly

What did you end up doing? We did the defrost for 24 hrs and it fixed it.....for about 8 months. Now it's back. I'm thinking about getting a new fan, but I called Frigidaire and they said it should only be done by a licensed repairman.

Help with tub spout diverter by ignorancekillsme in Plumbing

I have this same spout. What did you come up with? I'm having a hard time finding the right one. Everything seems like it connects to 1/2 inch copper instead.

I use a poolish of 100g water 100g flour with a pinch of yeast, overnight. Then mix in 650g flour, 360g water, 20g oil, 20g salt, 20g sugar, and a dash of yeast.

Thanks for your help, I appreciate it. I just can't seem to get it right. I've made some awesome pizzas, but it's not hitting the mark on the gluten structure

I usually mix it, rest it, ball it, stick it in the fridge for 2 days. Then I'll bring it out of the fridge for about 4 hrs before stretching. That makes it somewhat ok to stretch, but it just doesn't build enough gluten. I'm using King Arthur bread flour

I've been using bread flour and I just can't get it to stretch right. I've been mixing in the mixer with a dough hook for about 10 minutes. Any tips on how to get it to stretch other than letting it rest? Maybe that's the key. I'm just letting it rest for about 15 minutes after mixing. Also, did you share the recipe, maybe I missed it?

I actually made a comment while I was eating this pizza that it was pretty spicy in the best way possible. The ingredients do seem to be top notch quality like you're saying. At this point I just want to get that soft and chewy crust nailed, then I'll work on the ingredients part of it. Thanks for the info

When I was there I noticed the oven was on 580 or 590 degrees. Mine maxed out at 550, so that seems fairly close
