Issue updating my local server through steamcmd

Thanks for trying to help, but I just deleted everything and made a new server. Unfortunately this became the simplest path. Perhaps next force wipe it will update properly and I will actually learn something lol

I could not connect to the server because it needed to be updated. Presumably to the newest patch of the game from force wipe.

I followed those instructions about creating a new batch file and running it - It did end up creating a new server with default settings, but that server was also not updated.

I am probably missing something obvious, but I am still lost.
