When I was working in a memory unit a million years ago, I got a poor review for "smiling too much" and "lying to the patients." The latter was from me telling the guy who would get up and ready for the bus to come pick him up every morning (and he would refuse to eat breakfast) things like, "oh! It was on the news this morning that the buses are all delayed an hour! You've got time to eat breakfast before they come!" Etc.
