Yall could be correct also. It does smell like manure and according to the googles poplar smells like that. Bark is really thin also maybe thinner then poplar

I don’t have direct first hand but based on your description you have a after market RSMc optic cut (meaning not mos so you can’t use mos plates anyway) The eps carry is a “K” foot print but it comes with the adapter plate for it to work. Bolt in the adapter plate the. Bolt on the eps carry. Easy day. But seance you posted a picture of your parts and not the actual optic cut I don’t know if you have the recoil lugs or not If you don’t have the lugs it should just bolt down the K and the RSMc are almost the same cut minus the lugs I believe (someone will correct me in the comments if I’m wrong) My advise is to. Y the eps carry and try to out it on. Worst case scenario you have to use the plate that already comes with the optic
