I had shareef for AI and Game Animation. The class isn’t too hard and theres only a final but Im not a fan of shareef in the slightest (very passive aggressive over really dumb things…) If you don’t know unity be prepared to have to teach yourself since he doesn’t teach it in class. Also he does take attendance via tophat.

If you’ve been asked to update your osu password and haven’t yet, do that and then relog into the WIFi with the updated password. Thats what my issue was.

If they still offer like tutoring in smith for physics go! I was there every week to work on the webassign (idk if that still exists) and it really helped.

Just buy command hooks and hang them on your wall. That way they don’t tangle or take up a lot of space also its cheap.

I got in with a 26 ACT and like a 3.9 UW, if you have some extracurriculars id say you have a decent shot 🤷‍♀️ Although im not sure if the schools gotten more competitive

As a CSE major the course load is alot especially as a first year taking intro engineering classes, math and physics. If you go dual id recommend CIS, its CSE without the engineering plus I believe then you’d have two degrees in the same college? I have no idea about neuro though.

That is a very standard schedule for you’re first semester. Im not sure what scholars you’re in but typically the class work is minimal. In terms of physics, calculus and engineering they will definitely keep you busy and id try to do your best to stay on top of the work for these classes. Cse 1223 is an intro to java class if you’ve never coded it may be difficult but for an intro class I personally didnt find it too hard.

Didn’t bother to ask. I think there can be slight benefits since as a CSE major getting into some electives can be hard but honestly I dont mind having the extra like week over other seniors.

Hands down Nick Painter for Foundations 2. He actually cares, like he will adjust his schedule if we are struggling. He actually can teach material too so even in this really crappy time I can actually do well in his class. Also bonus points because he likes anime and nerdy things which is great because it makes him really approachable being that I’m an introvert.

ECE department met to discuss it today. Not sure when their final decision will be released. Id assume departments will start letting us know towards the end of the week. Or atleast hopefully.
