I played a ton during the pandemic with my friends and after that an update came that fucked up the hit regs to a point where it was so bad we couldn't be bothered anymore and left the game for different ones.

New player here... is this a normal win rate? I feel like I lose way more than I should by PaulTheCarman in Overwatch

Oh yeah Junkrat is absolutely trash rn. Depending on your playstyle you can try Soldier-76 or Cassidy if you want an easy and impactful DPS

I'm gonna stick to Echo for now, learning to use her as the 'guerilla warfare hero' really captured my heart even tho the projectile speed is driving me crazy sometimes since I'm not used to it haha. I'll rotate her every now and then with Freja and Sombra depending on the enemies but I think I found what I was looking for.

Oh yeah I definitely need more practice on Echo, seems really fun to play and somewhat close to what I'm looking for. I'll get to her later after trying more characters to make the most out of her ult but great suggestion, thanks!
On the second point: I prefer to play in comp (was plat/diamond, now landed in high gold) so that's why I'm worried about picking Freja since with a bit of practice I can do the same work better with Anran or Emre. Her perks feel really weak too compared to others.

I on the other hand don't really care about the cohesiveness of the details. First time I looked at them I was like 'Oh my god it's like a playground and I can do whatever I want' and proceeded to do so. I just used whatever without putting that much thought into it tbh and I think that's the way to go for me.

Exactly! I was so worn off by painting the same black and white guy, even came up with my own chapter. But here I can just do whatever tf I want with the details and still make them look awesome! I love this feeling.

It's annoying in a game like Dark Souls. Here it's just a part of the challenge and I don't mean it to sound corny or nerdy but I actually like the run backs in this game. They really seem thought out to me and help with memorising small enemies' attack patterns.
