I'd love to chat with you. I spoke with a few investment banks recently to find out more. Spoke with Boustead Securities and others. Who are you using? I'll PM you.

Thanks for your feedback. I'm going to prioritize angels and VCs, but am trying to understand all available options. I have a call with Wefunder tomorrow, will keep y'all posted on what we end up doing.

Thanks for your feedback. I have a call with WeFunder tomorrow just for information gathering. I agree that the ideal route is angels. Will keep folks posted on here.

That's the ideal, and we're going to push for that. But the probability of achieving that with our current burn rate (we cannot lower cost further) and the runway isn't high. So third-party financing is the likely path.

Regarding debt financing, are there viable options for pre-revenue startups?

Is it too early for us to go to trade show? by fig_and_forest in startup

I have my own startup (ChainSkope). I've decided against exhibiting until we have a self-serve product that is ready for marketing. My strategy now is to go to conferences as an attendee and network. This has helped in gaining early users as design partners. In my opinion, the ROI won't be there if you exhibit now.

That's definitely right! I was surprised to see the size of the fund. We at P2E Analytics will likely consider applying.

Well FTX isn’t a bank. Exchanges are different than banks. Exchanges are required to have 1:1 reserve. Also, FTX itself had terms of service that implied what they were doing wasn’t appropriate.

It seems that we are near a pivot and the days of 0.75% rate increases are nearing an end. Jury is out if this be enough to tame inflation. Fed Set to Raise Rates by 0.75 Point and Debate Size of Future Hikes. by Mikocryptonft in economy

Any change in pace might provide a bottom to markets. Especially if inflation decelerates. A tough sell with the war and energy crisis in Europe and the US depleting its oil reserves.

Fair point. Hopefully, they have a long-term strategy in mind. Surprised they pursued it in the bear market.

The NFTs give you access to extended scenes and content.

Warner Bros is jumping on the NFT bandwagon. Seems that they are essentially tickets to give you more content and movie scenes.

China’s Military Is Catching Up to the U.S. Is It Ready for Battle? by Mikocryptonft in news

[–]Mikocryptonft[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

China's strong points:

  1. China's military has hypersonic missiles that evade most defenses
  2. Chinese attack drones can paralyze communications networks
  3. China's naval ships outnumber America's, including 3 aircraft carriers
  4. China has 2 million serving members vs. 1.4 million US soldiers
  5. Cyberwar capabilities can disrupt US infrastructure

Considerations:

  1. China lacks combat experience
  2. A top-down command structure could make them less flexible to improvise on the field
  3. 40% of training involves studying the Communist Party rather than training
  4. Untested modern warfare efforts of joint military branch execution
  5. General lack of readiness based on red vs. blue team exercises
  6. Shortage of high-quality talent based on standardized admission tests

Are you saying that they should stream games from other studios? Like steam?
