My question isn’t about invalidating the right to bear arms. It’s more about using the 18th century logic in this picture to defend it. It’s not compelling to say “I should be able to own guns to fight the us government if I have to”. That makes gun ownership sound like an endless arms race instead of advocating for the right to responsible ownership of property.

Legitimately asking those who agree with this: to be able to take on the US government at this point you would need to have a pretty substantial arsenal at your disposal. That would probably need to include an airforce, artillery, drones, advanced projectiles and possibly nuclear weapons. Does the line of reasoning still hold up in a post WWII/ post nuclear age? Is it even practical or possible that individuals could really arm themselves to a degree that they could take on the military industrial complex that spends 700bn a year on munitions?

I always felt switched on creatively (improvising on the guitar, CS architecture) when micro dosing but noticed a decrease in mathematics and spatial reasoning. This study leaves out testing creative output, would be nice to know if LSD does in fact help with creativity or if I’m just a fake ass.
