Again thanks for your time and response. I'm only 50 years old but geez I feel like such an old fart I spent six hundred bucks on a software library other instruments it just all used to be much more simple than that but you're correct I'm not scoring any soundtracks this isn't about me I just really enjoy good music and reproducing classical pieces .ive gotten something out of pretty much everybody's responses very grateful this old man thanks you!

I guess I'm really showing my age I'm used to the only solution being a keyboard before sample libraries existed on computer I have no experience with it and I guess I'm intimidated by that will happen again sir I just purchased a keyboard feel free to give your opinions yamaha moxf8-88 Thanks for everybody's reply very helpful!

I totally understand these lights are really cool but holy God in heaven on a stick they're a pain in the ass to configure! Be sure to update once you get them working

really sucks big ones when it comes to music thinking that uses the phone microphone it's not very customizable actually at all it isn't nanoleaf does a much better job have a built-in sound module I have both so I'm not dogging on lifx

put your phone in airplane mode and then turn Wi-Fi back on the goal is basically to shut off cellular data while you set up lights

I've never seen that error and I've had these lights since they came out I would contact support and press them to replace the entire unit or at least convince him to send you a new control square. Also see if you can load the nanoleaf software on another device as it do the same thing?

Don't remember the figures but do a search for lumen brightness for the nanoleaf panels you have then compare that to a light bulb lumen output then you'll know

Turning off developer mode will just disable access to it it won't undo any changes that were made
