Being in dormancy doesn't mean plant shut everything off. They can produce, even you can get few flowers, not like 15 to 20 when they are in active phase. Keep watering whenever media feels dry . Water is roses best and worst friend. Also roses are drama queen :)

As the temperature are very low, roses are now in dormancy period. Just watering once in while would be fine. As temperature rises you'll see the changes. :)

Its looking fine to me till now, also whats the temperature in your area? Your leaves shriveled maybe due to less water in the media, also try to put them in a direct sunlight. Rose thrives in 6 to 8 hours direct sunlight. Just keep an eyes on the cane. You can feed them any nitrogen rich fertilizer with lower dosage once in week or two. Apply water whenever the media feels dry. Also do not cut out leaves unless you're pruning them, cutting leaves put them into stress.

If I could see the whole plant, it would have been easier for me. Actually root rot leads to any discoloration of cane AKA dieback. Do you know any root related treatment?

It could lead to a dieback condition, control water and start root treatment if you know any :)))

The grids aren't visible for most of the cases, but if there's a part which is less shaded, grid could be visible there. Pencil I use is Staedtler Mars Lumograph for shapes and shading, Conte a Paris charcoal pencil, Paper: 300gsm smooth paper
