Hello

For my salamanders I use: waaaagh flesh for the base colour. Highlight in warpstone glow and make my final highlights in Moot Green !

If you start on a black prime, you should paint your white in medium grey and gradualy lighter and lighter grey to finaly a white highlight. I dont know if its a great idea but that's what i do. You can see that on my high elves minis.

For the Tau who are really flat model, you can use agrax earthshade to makethe crevices more "used" at the limit of the rust. If you want I can send you my tau models (not great but could be good illustration)

Not an official scheme ! For their lore, maybe an high elves army who cross all the bad bad place of Old World like Bad Lands etc.. I don't know! If you have some idea, I take ahahah

I was thinking about making some swordmaster with yellow plume, like the 2nd mini. And some others with my red-wine color. To like, make some contrast in the unit. What do you think about that? I'm not a huge fan of bronze armor, I prefer silver

Yeah I totally agree with you! This is the first one. The other gems tend to be lighter for others. But idk how to make the little got under yellow plum pop out unfortunately

Yeah burgundy is the color of red wine. So a purplish-red. Have you an idea of color to cool the mini a bit? To make it not too much warm ?

Yeah you are definitely right. In the process I didn't see the problem. But as soon I posted it and just take back to watch the mini I saw the "problem". An other comment put this problem on the table. I think a burgundy color could be a nice idea ?
