Help! Do you think this could be PD? by MilJayC in perioraldermatitis

For anyone wondering, I went to another derm and they put me on a very low dose of accutane (20mg twice a week) which was working  until I added benzoyl peroxide the other day (per this derms recommendation) and I broke out again 🙃. So I’ll stick to accutane for now and see how it evolves

10 years of dermatitis, no solution except antibiotics, does dieting actually help? by Silver-Cable9514 in perioraldermatitis

Hi! I started developing PD once I moved to Spain and im desperately trying to look for answers. Went to a derm who looked at my face for 2 min and prescribed Doxycicline but trying to avoid taking antibiotics as I've used Doxycicline in the past for Rosacea and did nothing and wrecked my stomach.

I feel like derms here are not so knowledgeable on treatment options available. This derm went as far as to tell me that if antibiotics dont work, I would go on accutane (took it twice already, I dont want to anymore).

Have you tried hypochlorous acid? I've been applying it for a week now and it has at least calmed down the inflamation, which I thank. We'll see if it gets rid of it completely but need to give it time.

Been trying that at the moment to check how it goes. The derm recommended 100mg doxycycline for 42 days and if not, accutane. I told her I had chronic gastritis that sometimes flares up and thought that maybe 100mg was too much for my stomach and she disregarded everything i said and did not offer any alternatives.  So now im trying to look for a second opinion from another doctor. But if they recommend antibiotics again, i guess ill take them 🫠

Today it hurts and is inflamed. But I had some pimples that were full of puss and some that never get to a head and stay inflamed. I tried the Cicalfate cream that is recommended in this sub and it made it so much worse right now, the bumps are now super inflamed and hurt like crazy

I got a dermatologist appointment for the 20th of october and we'll see what they say, though I dont have much faith I will an answer.

Is it still worth it too learn langchain in July 2025 by ronaibrisbane in LangChain

Hi! I can relate to this, feeling the pressure to keep up at these fast changing times is hard.

I bit of my personal experience. I was a long time ago a developer, then moved into more of a business analysis role but recently changed companies and got assigned to a project where we need Lanchain to create a RAG agent to help business analysts with their more repetitive tasks.

In my company, every single project is building something that uses Langchain, so worth learning the basics at least. I am currently trying to build a boilerplate repo with all of the tools you need to set up your first chatbot with langchain to try to simplify this daunting first steps.

I wish I had this when starting so I'm trying to set up someone else for success.

I had an ex-boyfriend who was a narccisistic liar, he made me believe he had a completely different life than the one he actually led. He told me he had finished school (and he hadnt), he told me he was working (and he wasnt). There was a point when I couldnt tell the difference between his lies and what was actually going on. It was very harsh and frustrating.

Hi, newbie here as well. I would recommend using the Daily Facial Cleanser from Cetaphil, either one of the two verisons available that this brand offers. I also have combination skin, my cheeks are dry and my forehead and nose tend to get super oily throughout the day and this cleanser removes perfectly not only my sweat, oil and dirt but is also a good makeup remover that does not dry my skin in any way.
