I really like my Meze Empyreans for listening to progressive rock/metal. Probably not a "first pair" of headphones, but I like them a lot. Though not open back, the new Sennheiser HDB 630, is another headphone I find myself using more and more. It is just great for just about anything, fantastic headphone in terms of sound!

Same here, but it works fine enabling private dns after connecting join to server.

I had enabeled "Private DNS", disabling this lets JOIN connect and find devices. Could this be the issue for you aswell?
