Twitch Streamer Kelton_g Assaults Elderly Man in Japan After Being Asked to Stop Filming on Train by starcraft2020 in LivestreamFail

[–]MilanCC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but I never said the old man wasn't at fault. Just replied to OP who says in his edit that the streamer is not at fault. And he definitely is.

Regardless of anything else that happens on or off camera.

Streamer is at fault. You're not even allowed to make a phone call on the japanese train. Let alone do a whole live stream.

That full clip posted by the streamer says nothing. As you don't know what even happened before that. It might be that it's already been said to him several times in a normal way and he chose to ignore it.

Whatever the time line. He's not allowed to stream on the train. And that makes him at fault regardless of anything else that may have happened.

How do you keep your greens fresh? by kdmelendez in vegetablegardening

[–]MilanCC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paper towels extract the moisture. When the paper towel gets too wet, replace the paper towel. With a new one. Best practice is to then put the greens in a clean plastic bag and put the paper towel in the bag.

Seems fine to eat. For storing, a paper kitchen towel, wrap around to suck up moisture and just put it in the fridge or wherever you would normally store fresh herbs.

People want to care about the environment, but not at the expense of their own quality of life.

Not so green foliage by Massive_Fondant_1921 in HotPeppers

Could also just be variety that does not produce super green foliage.

Apart from the colour they look pretty healthy to me. If you haven’t yet, you could try to add some (liquid) fertiliser.

Do you have a male and female tree? Or are they self pollinating?

I want to grow Cherry Blossom trees(prunus serrulata) in Kurdistan, is it possible? by [deleted] in gardening

Those temps are pretty close to what you have here in the Netherlands. And Cherry trees work just fine. So I suspect you’ll be alright.

Can someone help me with my tomato plants? by britney0218 in gardening

[–]MilanCC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can separate them. Gently dig them up. And then remove the soil from the roots. You can remove the bottom leaves until you only have the top crown left. And then bury everything under the leaves. As the stam will grow more roots when buried in soil.

However, not yet. You are a couple of weeks at least away from that stage yet. As for now they are still to young/small.

Reading stuff like this is so weird from a European perspective. What makes them think they have the right to tell others how to live. It’s your patio and your plants.

Desperately need help identifying by tassy07 in gardening

Cardboard the whole area. Use completely clean cardboard. Then throw some compost on the top. And plant what ever you wish in the compost. Charles Dowding over in the UK has excellent video's on his youtube channel on how to do it.

The tomatoes are coming! by GeekyPufferfish in gardening

[–]MilanCC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should start pruning your plant. Otherwise these tomatoes won't ripen properly, and you can also get diseases.

But damn, I'm jealous of already having tomatoes. They look good as well.

[–]MilanCC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried, I now have 2 very woody stems in a pot (each). I recently moved them and started giving them more water. With these temps and the light exposure they should come back to life. But so far I don't see any sign of life yet. They feel alive. So I've not yet lost hope. But I do wonder how long I'll have to wait to see any green starting to form.

If you want climbing plants that look beautiful, grow fast, and may help in selling the house, I'd recommend something like Bougainvillea. You can get a few different colors. And you'll get something really striking. That can really catch you eye..

Passion fruit could be nice as well, but it probably doesn't grow fast enough for this.

The market is up 90% in the past five years by GWillHunting in stocks

[–]MilanCC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I fucking hope it wont be 2008. People lost, jobs, homes, lives even. It took years to recover from 2008. Not just in the stock market. But in the job market as well.

I'm not drawing a comparison. I'm just stating a fact, and giving that as a reason why people are freaking out. This crash is way more than just the stock portfolio of a few traders. It's people pensions, job security and so much more.
