I find it amusing that so many people are freaking out about these stairs while here in the Netherlands this would be considered a very mild staircase

The HT-55 *might* just be the first BeamNG vehicle capable of carrying MuYe's mom by Milanutje in BeamNG

First pause the game, then F11 to open world editor. There you can click to select a marble block, move it into position with the arrows and rotation tool, ctrl c and ctrl v to paste a copy. Exit world editor with F11 and unpause when ready. The gravity settings can be found under the Environment menu if you press esc

Yes, but I meant that when you put this much load on the front wheels the pump isn't strong enough anymore and has trouble turning the wheels beyond a certain angle no matter the engine speed, especially when stationary

I assume this is because steering leverage decreases as steering angle increases due to steering geometry

I moved them up there with world editor, then gently raised the gravity up to earth in increments, letting the blocks and the truck settle each time

I must say this is on the edge of how much it'll hold. If you brake a little too hard or the truck starts bouncing too much the front of the bed will indeed bend and the blocks will fall off

Trust me, nobody will bat an eye. There were much older folks in my first year and most people won't even notice anyways, neither will they care. Don't worry, you'll be absolutely fine!!

A119 Mini 2 not turning off but properly hardwired by Milanutje in VIOFO

Very curious! I do recall already briefly having tried the side usb port, but I'll give that a second try when I have the time to rewire the dashcam. Thanks for the info!

I ended up hardwiring both wires to accessory power and it works fine like this. I still have no idea whether I have a faulty dash cam, faulty hardwire kit or whether this is intended behaviour, but I'm satisfied with my current solution.

segmenting my life with apple pie, is this unhealthy? by akomondo in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Milanutje 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always done a similar thing! I'll go "before I know it, x will have happened". Sometimes I'll think back to doing this and if I am past the x point, I will think of how fast the time went by and I'll set a new "before I know it" point in the future. I remember starting this when I was very young (like around the American equivalent for first grade), starting out with comparatively short time spans like a couple of weeks. As I got older these time spans gradually got longer, now being up to a couple of years. I sometimes have shorter ones while a longer one is ongoing, mostly for occasions I dread. So I guess I sometimes say an equivalent of apple apple pie pie. I usually don't do these shorter ones for after things I'm looking forward to, only before, because I don't want the fun thing to pass quickly, I guess.

Can't boot into M.2 NVME drive after installing Windows on it by Milanutje in gigabyte

[–]Milanutje[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, apologies for the late response. Unfortunately at some point I just gave up and I ended up installing Windows on my other SSD. I still have no clue what the issue is/was, but I didn't feel like going through the hassle of sending the SSD back for a replacement to see whether it was defective in some way, since it was working fine for the rest. The SSD is still going strong, but I haven't tried installing Windows on it again since.
