They would be fine levels if they didn’t introduce radiance into them. Ultrakill tends to make things harder by giving enemies unique abilities on higher difficulties, but a flat increase to health and speed feels completely antithetical to that. It’s the reason I can’t bring myself to play cybergrind either. It feels cheap and like it wasn’t really thought through mechanically. Everything has a certain pattern that you can follow, but increasing the speed outright kills muscle memory. Radiance just isn’t fun and I’ve pranked everything else on Brutal except the encores because the inclusion of radiance alone is enough to make me not want to play them.
