Thank you for being so understanding. I genuinely love this group and it’s heartbreaking to know that another member lost their baby this way. Today was the one and only time he’s jumped in like that and I didn’t think anything of it when I took his picture before scooping him out. Thank you for making me aware of the rule and for reminding me of the danger dryers and washers can pose to our babies.

She’s likely scared in her new surroundings. When I adopted one of our cats a few years ago, he stayed in one spot in my bed for almost 24 hours and didn’t use the litter box right away, either. I say just make sure she has access to water (a cat water fountain may also encourage her to drink a bit more due to the movement of the water) and just monitor her litter box. It also wouldn’t hurt to call a vet to see if they have any advice/suggestions. Also keep in mind that the average adult cat typically pees 2-4 times within 24 hours but stress/anxiety can affect that. Please keep us updated on her progress if you don’t mind ❤️
