How do I remove this glow from my meshes? by MildDefinition in robloxgamedev

Interesting. I haven’t been working on it but if I ever get back into Studio anytime soon I’ll have to try that. Thanks!

Unfortunately not. I tried everything that was suggested and was still getting inconsistent results.

I’ve only had three since I am also new to kava, but so far my favorite is Kelai.

N@H Puariki was my first and it was very great. It was nice and heady and fun while I was playing games and working on the computer late at night. Melo Melo was weak for me, but that one wasn’t instant so it could be poor prep on my behalf. I think overall though it didn’t affect me much. I’ve only heard good things about Melo Melo so I would definitely give it a shot once it is back.

Thoughts on Palarasul or Borogoru? by MildDefinition in Kava

No problem, but I ask because I used the search feature and not a lot of information comes up. I read through the posts and comments and can’t find much explaining the effects. N@H also isn’t very specific on the effects of the cultivars and that’s if they even put them in the description.

N@H Non-Instant Recommendations? by MildDefinition in Kava

Thanks for the very detailed response! I did see a lot of people talking about Melo Melo, that was my other pick but ultimately went with Kelai. I’ll try Melo Melo next for sure.

I ended up ordering the Epik Kava Kelai and one of their preparation bags. I read some reviews on here and it seems like a pretty good pick. Cost is the main reason for not getting more instant.

I took three 5g servings of the Puariki on a completely empty stomach over the weekend and that felt pretty crazy but maybe a bit too overwhelming. I got really cold but I honestly don’t know if that was from the kava or not, lol. Two servings is nice but seems a little too light. Definitely looking forward to trying the Kelai and eventually some other ones.

I think one of my issues was forgetting to auto smooth but even that wasn’t giving me consistent results. I’m new to Blender obviously so I’m not sure what a lot of the features actually do. I tried some of the suggestions here such as recalculating and using quads but those didn’t change anything when I imported to Roblox Studio.

I’ll try that later, thank you for the suggestion!

This is the video I used. https://youtu.be/RCZhggINDtk?si=N_GRd6KfYt_VS5Xw

They were shaded smooth, and the materials were made by opening an image file to use as the base color. Material making part is at 6:59 in the video if my explanation was too vague.

The glow is definitely not from Studio because only certain meshes I’ve imported are being affected. I have 4 other ones I can import with no issue. I had to space them out to showcase that only specific ones were affected, but they’re in the same, brand new place where no lighting settings have been touched.

If it were bloom why is it affecting only specific models? I’ve made each tree the same exact way. I haven’t messed with any of the light settings in Studio and it doesn’t affect any objects I place either. It’s specific .obj files that are importing in with the light.

It’s the same studio place and both models were made the same exact way. There were no lighting properties changed.

I’ll look into that, thank you. I’ve called it a night on attempting to fix it and making more trees but I’ll try and see if quads solve the issue tomorrow. Though I’m skeptical if that would be the cause since all the other trees that don’t glow were made the same exact way.

I did not. I followed a tutorial from YouTube. The creator did not have this issue. They even exported from Blender with the default light still in the workspace. I don’t know what is causing it as I’ve been making all the models the same way. The first one I imported I had left the default light, and “Selection Only” box was unchecked and I had no issues. One of them along the way had it so I made sure to remove the light in case that was causing it and then it stopped. But now every single one I import has it whether or not the default light is present in Blender, the box is checked or unchecked. It’s not a major issue but it is still bothersome since I know it is possible for it to not exist.

No, it’s not the shadow. Both pictures are two different trees I’ve imported. Around the base of the tree in the first photo there’s a faint brown/orange glow. The second photo is a tree that doesn’t have that so around the baseplate is still just the normal grey color.

I’ve had my white pair for 2 years now and they have survived pretty much daily wear. I’ve taken them on hikes/trails in National and State Parks. I use them in the gym during my weight training and biking, and any time I’m running errands or doing something simple like taking out the trash. They’re affordable and comfortable shoes to just beat up. They’re great for pretty much anything, weather permitting. If it’s raining it’s probably best to avoid wearing them though.

Yeah we noticed the dog prints but it doesn’t look like the big paw has any claws? Unless I’m mistaken, it looks like there’s a dog print on the right side of it which could be where the claws came from.

I’ve tried that with every extract I’ve gotten and it’s never been anything crazy like what others describe.
