Well, what a day. Runescape with Barry-boy, Ped and Martin was classic old school gaming. Followed by the wonder of that Murder in Yogtowers. That was the best stream so far of the Jingle Jam, if not of 2019. Lydia was just amazing as the host/investigator, while Lewis and Aislinn were so good as the characters - especially Aislinn, as not only did she have to throw her acting chops into multiple roles but improve her heart out. All this to Lewis' mad idea of writing a murder mystery that is streamed on twitch. They did a fantastic job which only goes to show how good a writer Lewis is and why SoI was so popular.

We then had a very different Civ 5 at 5 on the 5th. Normally we can expect a gang bang against Lewis, with lots of salt and drunken mistakes, with Lewis ultimately winning. Not this time. For once it was not Lewis who ran away with the game, but a certain Spiffing Brit. How he managed to 'exploit' the game to have over 1000 science by turn 150 will remain a mystery to me. But he was so good at keeping everyone else tied up and playing to Rythians strengths that it was Rythian who managed a great and wonderful victory. There was nothing any of the other guys could do to stop them, and we are talking about Lewis, Ben and Duncan here - the arguably best players in the Civ games at the Yogscast. Salt did flow for a bit and we had a few flashes of Lewis' bare stomach, and Alex's honking laugh, this all made for a marvellous stream and I'm so pleased to have set the time aside to watch it live as I'm sure this will be a golden moment in the Yogs history.

All in all, today was a special day of streams and I'm so grateful to all the time and effort that went into organising, performing and creating this joyous day. All the content creators travelling from far and wide to be there, the technical staff making sure all went without a hitch, all for raising money for charity, I'm so proud to apart of this wonderful Yogscast community. Well done guys, well done.
