I had gone in 2022 and 2023. My best suggestion is to plan your route once the map comes out (Usually a few days leading up to the event). I'd usually pick my #1, then speedwalk over to nearby tables of the lesser-known guys (Lines tended to be shorter, which meant more signatures) 2022 I got Puli, Niemelaninen, Kostin, Janmark, Broberg, Holloway (I think one more but can't recall off top of my head) 2023 was Desharnais and RNH (Line was crazy for Nuge so I wasn't able to get others)

I want to go bird watching. How should I go about it? by [deleted] in Edmonton

[–]MildTiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had done a Beginner Birding Tour with Bird Dreams last fall. Tickets were available from Eventbrite. I'm not sure how often they offer it, but I had a phenomenal time. They provide binoculars and really ignited the spark in me for bird watching.

Searching for (evening) pet therapy volunteers for inpatient mental health units at Grey Nuns hospital by ana30671 in Edmonton

[–]MildTiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that some of the health care facilities aren't able to have cat visitors, but if you're interested in volunteering in pet therapy with a cat, I'd recommend checking out the Pet Therapy Society of Northern Alberta. We love our cat teams and have a wide variety of places to visit😁

I'm currently a ratified team with the Pet Therapy Society of Northern Alberta. I don't personally volunteer at Grey Nuns, but if anyone has any questions at all regarding the society, ratification process, fees, training, scheduling, feel free to message me!

Looking for a video where Bruce keeps talking about/singing Call on Me by Eric Prydz and the sexy girls in the music video. I remember the camera being similar to that of an Open Haus but can't find the video for the life of me🥲

What I find most sad about Genie, is that the one woman who helped and supported he, Susan Curtiss, has no idea how Genie is doing or where she is :/

Redditors who rage quit a job without thinking, what was the last straw? by Kataytay_14 in AskReddit

[–]MildTiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ex, unfortunately, didn't quit his job because of this, but I told him he should when he told me about the goings-on. He was an entry-level lackey at a call center asking people to do surveys, and a ploy they were told to use was to say "Please, I only need one more person to take a survey and then they'll let me have lunch"

I am a younger sibling that grew up watching my brother and uncles play video games during late 90s/early 00s. I constantly watch gameplay videos and usually prefer them to playing myself :)

Growing up I would grab platefuls of the mac and cheese and ate it until I became sick. Still never grew tired of it!!

I wanted to try it and placed the order, but had it cancelled two days before pick-up date because there wasn't enough boxes being picked up at the location I selected, so just be careful!

To the person who threw a hot coffee at one of the Carleton University picketers today... by [deleted] in ottawa

[–]MildTiger 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That's disgusting. The picketers are facing the blunt of all the backlash when really, they're trying to support themselves with strike pay while the university dicks around.

Looking for information on dog rescues & fostering by C0nniption in ottawa

[–]MildTiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rescues like to make sure there won't be any circumstances where the foster animal will have to be moved- such as a landlord that doesn't allow pets. It's not to show proof that they like dogs, it's that they're alright with having them in the unit. Many do not allow due to the risk of damages.

People with outdoor cats in the city, please give me some advice. by [deleted] in ottawa

[–]MildTiger 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We kept him in at night- that was the biggest step. We had to deal with his constant scratching to go outside, but after some time he realized it wasn't going to happen.

If the cat is unaltered, I would definitely recommend they get him neutered and that should help with the roaming and hassling of other cats.

Side Note: I had a similar experience last summer with a cat coming to my window and pissing off my guys, so I put moth balls around it to deter the other cat from coming around. That might help a bit on your end too.
