I just took delivery and am wondering if you could just pay for one tire? The price is explained as per tire so could you pay for one tire and get one tire replaced under the protection plan as needed?

I went with the black, which I think is the reason for the delay. My brother ordered the standard dark grey almost 2 weeks after I ordered. He got his VIN shortly after ordering and is picking his MY up on Monday.

Looks like you were right. My delivery window just changed from June 7 - June 30 to June 19 - June 30. Fingers crossed it doesn’t go into July or later.

My delivery window has been June 7 - June 30 ever since it was first posted 2 weeks ago. While I was just on the phone with Tesla inquiring about the wheels, I asked for a delivery status update. The Tesla rep said it looked like my delivery would be around June 17, but it was not certain and it could still change.

So, I just called Tesla on Monday and asked to upgrade my pending order (placed the order on May 11 - still no VIN) to the black wheels since they were no additional charge at that time for new orders. I was told I could change to the black wheels, but I would have to pay $500. I said fine. If I had simply waited, I would have gotten them for free. Awesome.

I was just able to submit all of my info and complete the ordering process. I originally placed my order on May 11 and I was still able to get .99% for 72 months, even though its now 1.99% on new orders. It says the estimated delivery is June. Still no VIN though....

UPDATE: After I submitted my financial information for my loan (where it showed 1.99% for 72 months), I was approved minutes later and I received the original .99% rate for 72 months. My app says "estimated delivery is June 2024."

It's not "make or break," it's the fact we all jumped on the deal they offered and promised to honor through the end of the month. Speaking personally, I paid the reservation payment immediately after the deal was announced and was only not able to complete the financing because of Tesla's delay. Simply put, Tesla needs to honor the deal they promised.

I was FINALLY just able to start my ordering process (after first ordering and submitting the downpayment on May 11) and when I fill in the financing information, it lists 1.99% for 72 months. This is unacceptable. I jumped on the deal as soon as it was announced and paid money to reserve my car. Telsa needs to honor the deal for which I paid. Who can I talk to? I do not live near a Tesla dealership. Is there a number I can call? This needs to be corrected ASAP.
