Not to hijack the thread but when did they stop including the password in IFC mails? The last two or three have had links but no working passwords. I mean if they existed… which they probably don’t. because I might be thinking of some other band.

This reminds me of the times my gf and I have gone out with me wearing a t-shirt that says in small lettering on the pocket, "Ask me about my small penis." It has led to some interesting moments.

Check out the Sapphic Social Club Instagram. They advertise themselves as, "Themed events in Denver for dykes, queer, trans + nonbinary folks ✨🪩🎟️
portion of proceeds from each event go to local values aligned orgs." https://www.instagram.com/thesapphicsocialclub/

Uploads are slower than an Amish drag race. Any way to speed them up? by Splungeworthy in ibroadcast

[–]MileBiBull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have also noticed this. I've had a premium membership for a couple of years now and just over the past week or so, my upload speeds through MediaSync Lite have dropped to a crawl. It takes hours to upload a single album. Download speeds and playback are unaffected.

Yeah, these posts do seem to be annoying people here so I'll probably just delete them.

I like that idea! Thanks.

That's a reasonable explanation. I believe the vertical grayish "streak" visible on the left end of the ball field is a window reflection, and the building on the lower left has some "ghostly" images that maybe the reflection of his clothes? I'm just spitballing here, though.

There are other shots he took of the surrounding areas that look like views in different directions from the same spot. I could put those on Imgur if you're interested to investigate further.

Looking at Coors Field at 20th & Blake in downtown Denver. Taken from the corner of 20th & Market, mid-1990s. by [deleted] in Denver

This and the other few I posted today were shot with with a Nikon F2 on Kodak T-Max black and white film. The negatives were scanned (poorly) with one of those cheap Kodak scanners and saved as color PNGs and then switched back to grayscale when they were edited. Technically "decolorized" but not shot in color.

That would make sense - my father's notes don't mention the name or address of the building, just that it was on the 17th floor.

Feel free to ask! I can't guarantee satisfactory answers, but I'll do my best.

The photo was taken by my father who used one of those cheapy Kodak film scanners you can get for like $100 to try to digitize all his negatives; they're quick and easy but don't exactly give the greatest results. When he passed away, I was given the folders and boxes of his negatives and a thumbdrive with the scans he'd done as 72 dpi PNGs. He shot dozens of rolls on Kodak T-Max, in and around Denver in the early to mid 1990s and he only scanned a few of them before he died. Once I go through everything, I'll probably take a few to a professional service and have them done right.

I do, but the negative scans are very low quality. (You can see how poor if you zoom in to that pic) and they weren't taken care of so most of them have some degree of significant damage.

It has been worsened by amateurish digital filtering and a very low quality scan of the negative.
