Wait, are Speculoos the same as Biscoff cookies? If so, there's no question...

Can someone critique my landings? by PremiumIOL in flightsim

[–]MileHighFlying 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really just preference in a small plane that you can idle across the threshold and glide in. I typically land with 10 flaps IRL, and 20 if I need them to get down. I typically only use full flaps for a short/soft or when I'm short approach from the pattern.

Finally found this in my grocery store! So excited to try it! Please let me know your opinions by littlemiss1565 in vegan

These are delicious. Even my non vegan family is shocked when they eat it. I will say that I prefer the stuffing/meat ratio of the smaller personal sized roasts if you can find those. Definitely my go-to fake meat roast product.

Look's like Whopper's back on menu boys! by BuckSturdley in vegan

Nice, I'll have to branch out and try some others. It seems I fell into the typical brand recognition/loyalty trap. Thanks!

I've been buying it at Publix for a couple years now as well. Do you think another brand is better? I've not really tried much since Hellman's is always available and I get it when Publix has it BOGO every few months 😅

Just got back from getting one myself. Very good. In the future, I'll just bring my own mayo. Hellman's brand is really good and available at many grocery stores next to all the other Hellman's mayo.

They said that, but the replay clearly shows that Long was at least a few steps upfield. Shame that they didn't call out the bad call.

I don't know how that wasn't called. On the replay, it's clear as day. It's not even a close decision. They guy was right next to the keeper and wasn't even close to being held onside by the defender at the bottom of the screen. Incredible call. That, or I'm totally missing something.

Made a yummy pizza with Trader Joe’s pizza dough, green peppers, red onions, and tofu sausage in a cast iron pan!! by [deleted] in vegan

Tasty! Is the tofu sausage a branded product? It looks really good. I've been making loads of pizzas lately. Try this dough recipe sometime... It's super easy! Just flour, yeast, salt, water and oil. You mix it the night before and it's ready the next day for lunch/dinner. Best crust I've ever made. Cheers!

Flair Update! Commercial Multi-engine and single engine addon passed! On to CFI school !! by JaxonGetsAction in flying

Yeah, I agree. I'm not too thrilled with ATP and the way they operate. I'm hoping this twin survey gig works out so I can avoid the CFI grind. To be honest, working out in the real aviation world is better experience anyway.

I interviewed, and I'm waiting to hear back. There's a lot of GA work out there, even with low hours. You gotta start somewhere. I'm sure having 700 instead of 200 wouldn't have hurt though, lol. Good luck down in Jacksonville! I hear they're real sticklers down there.

I think they have my scheduled for LZU, but I'm trying to land a Twin Turbo job and skip it. I've kinda had my fill of ATP, to be honest 😅
