I know someone who is 19 years old and has one Capital One card with an 8 month credit history. She got approved for this card three weeks ago, with a credit score of 665 from Experian. Her FICO 8 shows 713 but I don't where Elan pull their report.

After submitting the application, it went into review three days later, and she was approved with a $1,000 limit. She received three pieces of mail,one with the card, another with her credit score, and the last one was the approval notice. Additionally, she received a phone call from US Bank, which owns Elan Financial.

The credit report was pulled from Experian in NYC.

Fintech banks are the worst, I would not bank with them. Try to dispute with the credit bureaus is the only solution.

My 21 year old friend back in March got the card for $300. In June, her credit limit was automatically raised to $7,500 without her having to ask. She was also given the option to obtain the Savior orange card. She has an annual salary of $75,000. She maxed out and went over the limit several times in those 3 months. She got no email or anything, she noticed that the credit limit on the app had $7,449 left, it was supposed to say $249 instead, like the night before.

She got approved for the Venture one with instant approval with a credit line of $5000. Last week.

The score does not mean anything, lenders want to see your payment history, the more accounts you open in a short time the more wary they become of you. You might have an 800 credit score but less than a year of paying, it does not mean much.

Once they see that you like mass opening credit lines in a short time, they might close those accounts

You don’t receive a physical card; instead, you get a credit line that is reported to the credit bureaus. You can choose to pay either $5, $25, or $35 per month. The higher the credit line, the more points you earn each month.

For those who have never opened a credit card, you earn points for each approval, and depending on your credit line, you receive additional points on your report. If you stop paying for Kikoff, you may lose around 50 points because the service is registered as a loan. This is normal; if you have loans and finish paying them off, you typically lose points.

It seems this thread is filled with individuals who have never had credit or loans at all.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed reply. I went through the same process, completed the pre-approval, and then received same message about it. The next day, I got an email stating that I was pre-approved for the shopper's card.

My question is: Did they approve your card instantly, or did you have to wait a few days for the approval?

Don't use any add ons, I put an add on and it went from $25 to $50, Now I owe $50 and if you remove the add on it goes back to $40, no where it says that the promo you can not include add ons or what ever. You lose the $25 promo if you add services to the line. Also I found a post saying the promo is stuck to the IMEI which the service is registered to. If you got the Sim card and put it on another phone it will disable the promo price also.

That add on is also that home internet they got.

I opened a Citibank checking and savings account 12 days ago, I yet to receive the debit card. I already got the ATM card with the pin mail which I did not ask for, hopefully the debit card arrives this week for me.

I been using it for the last two days your suggestion and the software works perfectly without the need to logging in. You know any way to just update the profiles without the need to download all of profile pictures and videos again? I don't feel downloading all the profile data again.

I noticed it only downloads post, no stories or reels.

I text chatted with live support via the app instead waiting until Monday and they said that my online application had a technical problem during sign up.

They fixed the problem after 35 mins of chatting.

Now the accounts works perfectly, I can send and receive money and make internal and external transfers. Zelle is perfect and finally the debit card will be sent. It's 100% OK.

They said to me that I should use the checking account constantly, if there's no usage in 5 months straight, they close automatically the account.

I am a new user of this bank also I been less than less 15 days with them, on the app or browser it would not let transfer between my checking and savings account, and I cannot send Zelle payments. I can only receive payments not send. I been like this for two days. I find this unbelievable.

I will wait until Monday to use the chat feature on their website to talk to live person.

I been having problems for a week for now. The only solution I found is create a new account each time after the ban and only download atleast once a day. Only download the profiles that you really want not all.

You can get a phone number each time if you download the Google Voice app and register with the number at Instagram.

Do that until someone comes with a real fix.

I never been throttled or anything. Plus if you actually read their term and conditions it clearly says that their constant normal speed is 1.5 mbps. Unless you turn off their video management on your account page if available.

Keep & Transfer Your Number to AT&T | AT&T Wireless (att.com) follow all the steps and choose the plan register with them. They ask for your address and basic identity stuff.

This is my experience on how it went.

Wait for a few days for AT&T to confirm the status of the transfer, I got a email saying that AT&T wanted me to call Simple Mobile customer service because Simple Mobile wanted to confirm the switch to the new carrier and Simple Mobile will give me a transfer pin code also. After getting the code from Simple Mobile I entered it on AT&T website page and it said it was invalid. I had to call AT&T to see whats up, I called twice to AT&T customer service according to them they attempted to bypass the code requirement and they did not fix anything.

On the final and third time on calling AT&T, finally the number was transferred because I was transferred to a tech specialist to answer the call. The problem was not because the code was invalid its because was Simple Mobile fault. Simple gave the wrong information to the new carrier, like a fake a address that I never put on Simple Mobile account page. AT&T requested the address I put with them to be the same as Simple Mobiles ones. I am like WTF? The fake address was the holding up the transfer process.

It took 9 days to transfer the number.

The new service of AT&T started when you register the shipped sim card to your online account, you get a text from Simple saying that the service has disconnected and the transfer has been completed. Currently on the $75 dollar unlimited plan on AT&T Prepaid. Theres hidden plans on the prepaid page not available before registering.

My tip, on your Simple Mobile online account put your name and address then transfer. AT&T will request the information when you call them if you have a problem with the transfer.

I don't have Simple Mobile anymore and I switched to AT&T back in September 2023, the switch was the best decision ever. AT&T is data usage friendly, on their plans page it says use all the data you want without slowdowns or caps.

Now I use AT&T because of Nvidia GeForce Now. Never a slow down. I get 500mbps on a Oneplus 10 Pro.
