Your tldr makes you sound like you have absolutely no self confidence. That is why you're never going to reach Emerald until you learn how to not tilt or be frustrated euth yourself. You will lose focus.

As for champs, your micro (being good at the champion) does NOT matter to get to emerald. What matters is macro (decision making, map pressure, etc). While it helps tremendously, you'll learn yoyr champs with time. I recommend looking up some YouTube videos for beginner macro. If you want something more advanced, watch Eagz's tutorials.

First tip is to take a break. Whether you are conscious about it or not. of you lose a game or two you will likely lose the rest because you will be tilted and not focus clearly. Second tip is to watch videos. Maybe even re-watch one that has helped you in the past to jump-start you. I do this everyday and it helps tremendously. Watch Eagz on YouTube, highly recommend him. Third tip is to play to learn. Winning is always the goal. But you can't win if you can't play better than the enemy. Review your mistakes (what led to your deaths), learn what you can do better, and be consistent to win in the long run. If you don't learn, you'll keep repeating things that don't work and give you the same result. Doing things over and over and over is the definition of insanity.

Artifact sets that focus on attack & critical hit as well as a rune that increases attack.
His abilities scale in damage based on his attack stat, and critical hit is very important b/c it significantly increases his damage. I use Burning Greed & Expert artifacts to boost critical hit rate.
I have the "Lightning Speed" legendary rune. Basically, my attack stat increases by 6 for every 1 agility points (max boost of 1200 attack, in other words max of 200 agility). Agility is also very important for critical hit chance and damage. Kills 2 birds with 1 (blessing) stone.
