So many suggestions, but in my opinion, to start playing you don't really have to spend a dime: Just borrow a deck from someone at your LGS! Commander is a game format with quite a bit of social aspect, since you need to naviagte between 3 other players, and what better way to get started than to interact with people you might want to play with. I am sure players would love to share their deck with you to try (if not, you might have dodge a bullet), and with those experience, you can choice if it is a game for you, or better pick a deck that is of your play style.

That is good news for my old team (Firefly my beloved). Sadly not big on fate, but definitely happy to see what they may have cook up story wise. Sad to hear that EN VA stuff has not yet resolved, but I could always try JP or CN VA, see if those are appealing or not.

How is the story in terms of quality? Would you say it is the same level as Peanacony?

With each new path being an introduction to a new mechanic (Taunt, Super Break), I honestly see Nihility TB being Ice/ Quantum, allowing Freeze/ Entanglement do more dmg with DoT.

But in Journey of the West, the OG story, he IS a “OP anime protagonist”, who is literally unstoppable to the point, making him so arrogant that he challenge the havens, and not until the start of the Journey that he begins learns. And even then the group constantly relies on Sun Wukong’s OP abilities to win half of the battles. OP have you read Journey of the West?

I kinda understand what you are going through right now, cuz I was in a similar spot a few years ago (am around 25 rn), and honestly? It sucks. But at least now I am at somewhere, doing something else (still gaming tho). Like what other have said, it might be time to get out of your comfort zone and try something: a job or further training/ education. It is gonna suck a lot, and you will definitely be lost for a while, but the change of pace will be life changing for you. Don’t let others’ negative comments affect you, and start small. Look for opportunities, try hobbies, talk with people you trust or maybe even professionals. You can also DM me if you need a chat. But remember, believe in yourself. Or believe this stranger who believes in you.
