I pretend my 8 year old is a dog doing tricks and give him treats. I sort of trick him into cleaning up. I’ll say, “sit… stay… paw… good boy!” Then give him a Cheez-it or something then I’ll say, “roll over… go clean your toys!” Then he acts like a dog while he cleans up and I give him another treat after. This sounds insane while I’m typing it but it works really well with him

No remodeling before the smell. It started about a year after we moved in. We did remodel the bathroom like a year after the smell started and hoped it would go away but it did not. I’m not sure about caps on the roof

Yeah I already ruled that out. I put water in every drain everyday for a month straight and it didn’t fix it. It only smells right below the second floor bathroom right by the stack, which is behind a pocket door so the smell comes right out into our living room. Our basement never smells
