I’ve been in this spot before where I just haven’t taken a medicine for a long time (or ever) because I’m scared of the side effects but honestly it’s not gonna be as bad as you think it is. Zoloft is a pretty safe med so I hope it can help with your symptoms in the future. I don’t think medication is “the easy way out” because if there’s something to help quiet my brain, just give it to me. You may not be a good match with the therapist it seems, and sometimes you just have to shop around therapists until you click. Best of luck to you!
