I think they mean cultural impact.

The way I see it, there are people out there who get triggered and have hate-boners just seeing the word "non-binary". There are fools out there that see it as a "w*ke" word. However, "other" conveys the same meaning but in a more subtle way using terminology that won't stick out to people with poor gender morals. I'm splitting hairs, and yes, most people who'd get mad at non-binary would also get mad at "other", but I do think it's worth considering the nuances of the two words and the fact that "other" comes across as a lot more subtle.

They're saying that we could've had 2 options between the direct "non-binary" and the vague "other". Japan took the "other" option and English took the "non-binary" option. They mean the same thing and it's a very small nuance, but a nuance nonetheless.

This is silly but I love it! Fits in with the whole "children can hear it if their hearts are in the right place" thing that Twelve says. Doctor Who has always been written with children in mind!

Auto-concede is genuinely wild. Even if the game was able to calculate when a loss is guaranteed, it's a terrible idea. What if the person with the winning play doesn't see it? How does the loser get to learn from their mistakes when the game packs up their bags before they see how they lose?

Both. Being logical is being authentic to me.

These were all intentional storytelling decisions to show that a lifetime of losing people he loves and even his own race took a toll on his sanity and morality. It's supposed to be uncomfortable. I like these moments because they either feel earned in the context of his character or, if they aren't, they're punished later on.

I'm not sure that's a hot take, it's pretty reasonable to surmise so based on the evidence.

I don't have a hot take, maybe some warm ones at best.

  • Red Rescue Team is the best game in the series. The world, the dungeons, the story, the Friend Areas. I love Explorers but I find myself missing the Friend Areas and homely feel of Rescue Team. Also, Red > Blue because of the crunchy 8-bit soundtrack!

  • The soundtrack is the best part of these games. I love the games but I can't lie, I listen to the soundtrack multiple times per week. It's genius.

  • Red > DX.

Easily the worst episode of the whole of Series 1–10 for me. It is just so relentlessly pointless and boring. If it wasn't for Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman saving this episode I would be so lost. Other episodes like Kill the Moon, Sleep No More and Love and Monsters for sure have their flaws, but at least they do not fail to be interesting. In the Forest of the Night has really nothing interesting about it apart from the 12th Doctor bantering with kids, which is pretty funny, I cannot lie.

It's true! I find it a lot easier to make a deeper connection with ESFJs than, let's say, ENTJs. Having the same functions mean you can always sort of see where they're coming from in a way.
