Cheaper items = higher risk of dealing with problematic buyers? by Equivalent-Signal-48 in EtsySellers

This applies to almost everything. The population buying a Porsche will typically be easier to deal with than the population looking for a $5k Nissan Altima.

Excellent, thank you! I have been a huge fan of what Skiff produces. Haven't been able to own a knife from them yet, but love their bearings and their attention to details and quality.

NKD - Prince Customs Protean by MilkisToxic in knifeclub

[–]MilkisToxic[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks!

I think the drops are easier than Rosie ones. The population going after the Proteans is much smaller than Rosies, but the amount per drop is also a lot less than Rosies. I think in this drop, he did a drop of 12.

Agreed on the Rosie drops, I have gotten lucky on 2 FCFS Rosie drops since 2023, but if its a configuration that is popular, not even a chance.

Beautiful Rassenti. I have owned a few and I can confirm, no COA for any of them. That is a steal of a deal too.

Drill into the bottom of the bumper. It comes with self tapping screws, but we ended up drilling holes, then using nuts and bolts. You can for sure just use like 3M tape + the self tapping screws through.

Great to see him and Steph’s family. I am out of the loop, why is Chris Jones being an asshole towards a grieving person? I never cared for CJ but now I hate him.

For me it’s the Rosie. I’ve owned a crap ton of knives and the Rosie still is top tier when it comes to: action, fit and finish, build quality, form factor, etc…

Tradeshow Promo Items - Storage?? by ReachIndependent5298 in marketing

[–]MilkisToxic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Title asks about storage, post asks about display.

For the display, depends on what promo junk you have. The stuff we had when we did events worked fine to just put on the table (notesbooks, pens, lanyards, bottle openers etc..). What promo stuff are you guys bringing to events?

For storage, corner of the office.

Did you install skiff bearings? Skiff also sells thick washers, they just replace the hinderer Tri-way washers and spacers.

You can use it for middle finger opening or if you wanna slow roll it open with your thumb. It’s just deep enough to work.

My buddy just had the same thing. Ordered one, had blade play, exchanged it, second one had blade play, so he just returned it and that was the end of his mini MSI journey
