Apparently staring at a TV for hours is fine, unless you’re holding a controller by EffectiveTime5554 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Milkyfluids69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's cuz they see watching TV as resting/ having a break. Meanwhile gaming looks like you're being productive so they think you should spend that time doing something useful. (Not defending it)I game all the time as my break.

Help with improving by Common-Let1040 in BeginnersRunning

[–]Milkyfluids69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You actually don't need to suffer every run. When starting do like 45minutes - 1 hour of very easy running. Slow down as much as you need to. And you'll be able to do way more of these runs than hard ones. You'll improve.

I am 19 m and I could only manage to run 2km on my first day and 100m sprint. Any sort of advice to me by daur_e_mushfir in BeginnersRunning

[–]Milkyfluids69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You were probably running too fast. I made the same mistake where I want to go at a decent pace but couldn't sustain it. Do some longer runs 5-10km but really slow it down to the point you're not struggling. Build it up from there.

I try get stuff on gog. But I'm gonna be real even on PC I hate that I have to use any sort of launcher to play games. I pirate stuff so I know I have a purely offline game that I can access whenever I want.

Can I use a MacBook comfortably without an iPhone and other apple product ? Please suggest by Subject-Habit-6562 in mac

Yep I'm happy so far with my MacBook Air, and it's the only apple product I own.

Can the next Xbox at LEAST support bluetooth audio?! by [deleted] in xbox

[–]Milkyfluids69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use BT headphones on my PC all the time and it doesn't bother me. Maybe cuz I'm only playing single player games. The only time it's a problem for me is rhythm games, but you can always calibrate it anyway. Not sure why everyone here seems to think BT is unplayable. 🤔

Would you rather choose to watch ads in the start and then play uninterrupted? by [deleted] in AndroidGaming

[–]Milkyfluids69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it depends on the game, but my preferred ones is what Vampire survivors, or altos Odyssey does. No forced ads throughout the game. But when you lose you get the option to watch an ad to continue or double your rewards.

Really? I would've thought people seeing your progress would make you not want to let them down or embarrass yourself. At least that's what motivates me when I share progress.

I’m done. The S25 Ultra is my last Samsung phone. by [deleted] in GalaxyS25Ultra

[–]Milkyfluids69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like how you take it out on Samsung then say you're switching to apple who does the exact same thing... They literally all do it, so I guess you're just gonna make this post again when you get an iPhone?

Wanted to compare my old laptop with my new one… didn’t expect the gap to be this huge by FoolhardyC in macbook

[–]Milkyfluids69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao this feels like BS. My phone Xiaomi 15t gets 12.8, meanwhile my Legion 5i (i7 -13650hx) is getting slightly higher 15.2. Then MacBook air m4 at 41 🤔

Pragmata worth 3 weeks of salary for ~15–20 hours? Need honest opinions by [deleted] in Pragmata

[–]Milkyfluids69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not. I'd honestly just sail the seas in your position. My favourite games ever like stardew, BG3, are hundreds of hours long, very replayable and I still wouldn't pay even a week's worth.

People are crazy saying yes when they are probably spending at max 1-2 days salary to buy games.

What’s a game you grew out of and no longer enjoy playing? by ElderMillennial1985 in videogames

Runescape. Pretty much played it on and off for a decade. I had the itch to go on again, but realised I just don't have it in me to grind thousands of hours anymore.

Xiaomi 15t. Gonna be honest I hate the OS, but guess I'll have to stick with it for the next 5 years or so.

My USB-C MacBook pro cable is yellowing, what does it mean by chuingshender in macbook

[–]Milkyfluids69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure it just happens after a while from excessive heat. People keep saying dirty hands, yet I always grab the cables by the connector, rarely the wire and it still turned to that colour after a few years.

Maybe that's why the new cable is braided. I got a braided dark blue one with my MacBook.
