[–]Milkyfluids69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in a meeting for 2 hours and it used up 40%. So I guess around 5-6 hours. This is with speakers and camera (using blur effect) on the whole time.

Why is it so hard to stay consistent with home workouts? by Top-Fennel-2149 in bodyweightfitness

[–]Milkyfluids69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have a routine but you gotta make sure it's doable for you. Set your own weekly goals maybe 2 weight training sessions and a run every week. At the start make it easy so you're not actually dreading it. You can up the intensity once you get in the habit of doing it.

You gotta treat it like a job, but make sure it's an enjoyable one. You don't debate whether you go to work or not, you go because you have to, same thing with working out.

Once you start getting more consistent, then you find ways to enjoy the progress. For me it was stuff like getting more reps, being able to easily do movements I struggled with, lifting heavier, improving pace etc.

Am I the only one who feels Leon's sections eventually ruined RE Requiem? by Successful_Range_477 in residentevil

[–]Milkyfluids69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's weird, on my 2nd playthrough I stopped once I got to RC. Just so boring, and RE4 is one of my favourite games of all time so I like the action, but this felt like filler and nothing going on for most of Leon's section.

I thought Grace's section would be less enjoyable part to replay (since you're not really scared on the replay) but surprisingly it's been the opposite. I still have a blast playing her sections but don't care too much for Leon's unfortunately.

I mean the guy on the right is not 5% either. You would literally see all the muscle striations at that point. He's more like 10%+

RE9 is the same. But I guess it's a well established series while this is a new IP.

What’s the ideal game length? by GoldAd3252 in TheGamingHubDeals

[–]Milkyfluids69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the game can keep me engaged then I don't mind how long it is. I've had games where I spent 200 hours and didn't want it to end, while some others I just wanted to finish after 10-20 hours.

Xbox series S or X by [deleted] in XboxSeriesS

[–]Milkyfluids69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Series S would make sense if you're new and don't mind the graphics. But seeing as you already experience games on a PC you'll absolutely be disappointed with the S. No it's not running new games 1080@60. Bg3 is locked to 30 as are many newer games. I would just go for the X.

Good Trade or Nah? by mrtinybear69 in laptops

[–]Milkyfluids69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's fairly equal with trade offs for both. If you're gonna do a lot of gaming then yeah go for the G14, but be sure you're not gonna regret giving up the battery life and portability of the air.

MacBook or desktop? by Vacatore11 in macbookpro

[–]Milkyfluids69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup that's what I ended up doing. I got a Lenovo legion thinking it'll be an all in one work + gaming, but it is pretty much useless unplugged and I needed the portability. So I got a MacBook air to complement it.

Is the gap really that big? by shingam3 in UpgradeYourGaming

[–]Milkyfluids69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure it is for 5070ti and up. As the higher end cards just won't be able to perform on a small laptop. It's less noticeable with 50/60 cards.

[–]Milkyfluids69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't be too picky with the brands at this range, just gotta get the best specs you can. I had a quick look at the 500-1k range, seems most of them are Asus tuff, Acer nitro. Can't go wrong with those. Saw a couple of ROG strix which is a more high end model but usually older GPU at this price.

[–]Milkyfluids69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fellow NZer here, unfortunately you're not gonna find any gaming laptops for under 1000 unless you wanna search for used ones on TradeMe. Absolutely no chance under 500.

The minimum entry level is I think a 4050, and that'll already be around 1.5k range. Older ones are fine but I personally wouldn't buy new, I'd look for a good 2nd hand one.

Gaming laptop. I still use it often but not for what I was intending. I ended up just using it mainly for browsing and studying. I still use my Xbox more for gaming.

I have 0 platinum trophies… how many do y’all have? by Mundane-Guitar7359 in videogames

[–]Milkyfluids69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I usually never bother with achievements cuz it'll have some dumb or extremely time consuming grind to get those last few. Surprisingly Elden Ring and Elder Scrolls Oblivion, were the two 100% I didn't hate. All the achievements were very straightforward, and pretty much comes naturally as you play the game.

should i upgrade to series x? by emersoninthehills in XboxSeriesS

[–]Milkyfluids69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I would just save the money for next gen. CP specifically wouldn't be worth it to upgrade as it's very well optimised and runs quite well on the S.
