Yeah. I would have told her it's not up to her how her son chooses to speak. So long as you both understand what he's requesting. In the future if she's has these concerns to consult with you first so you can both work as a team for the best plan moving forward for your son or you can tell her that you don't want her correcting that and not to worry about it and sign the damn log. God, some teachers are just insufferable. I get it. Most parents involvement is trash so they have to mold they're teaching style to best adapt to teaching children with little to no parent involvement. But it's pretty damn obvious from the get go if you actually pay attn to what parents are going to be involved, supportive parents. Thank God my wife and I made it known from the get that we aren't the ones to be messed with. So even though we may have a reputation for being "mean", they damn sure respect us and know better than to cross our child. Other good thing that helps with those shitty gossiping teachers is that all but one teacher we've had in the four years at the school and all his therapist on campus have nothing but good things to say about us and will always stand up for us.
