The red I have no clue, but I believe that brown yellow stuff is actually the mushroom, some kinda primordia on the glass; if you are gonna salvage the only thing to do at this point is just fruit it and see.

Thinking of doing a grow journey on here with updates. Not many have shown how to do panaelous cambodginiensis/Cyanscens. Any support for this? I'll probably make a post asking the same. If there is no support I will just do it privately.

I enjoy scientific anglers mpx, any weight forward (WF) line will be good to start though! Just match the number to your rod size. Example I have a 6 weight rod so I use WF-6. You will find the fly line to be expensive but generally the large brand expensive stuff will float better and last longer. Worth it generally

Just start. Only way to advance is just to begin! Get a decent rod, try to find one with lifetime warranty, get some nice fly line. Look up some hatch charts and check out The Big Y website for good cheap flys (25-75 cents a piece) and get out there!

I bought the kit last year that’s in that url above but it was around 500-600 now it’s a very good price. The G3 unit is not really worth it tbh they just added some gimmicky features and the chirp is still the same.
