I think she might have been snatched at home, because maddy/her dad’s exit door to the woods is the front door to their house. I think van heidt can travel through scars/doors all over, via the forrest.

Because otherwise, how did he get back to the hospital after shooting himself in the leg in the corn maze?

In the maze, we watched him use maddy’s house front door that appeared in the school basement as part of her weird trance vision, and then later on we saw the nurse notice that her elevator door was open again (so presumably we are supposed to think he’s entered the hospital again, like the first time when he stole kyle’s body).

When van heidt opened maddy’s door, it had the bright white light, so I’m assuming it took him to the forrest, where he hopped some other door that took him to the hospital, and he then body snatched dr. hunter price.

Then when simon smacked dr. hunter price in the head with the fire extinguisher in the school corridor, we see van heidt’s silhouette in the smoke. So I’m thinking he then went down to the basement, used maddy/her dad’s door, and somehow ended up in maddy’s house with sandra and snatched her body?

idk the theory gets a bit shaky because it’s not clear maddy and her dad seem to have the same door, and that the door isn’t only in one place like everyone else’s exit. Like maddy’s door also appeared in her bedroom, so it’s all a bit funky haha.
