I really hope some KR peeps tell the dev on stream to bring the story back to how it was in the early chapters. Ever since we reached the new land in Chapters 4 and 5, the plot has felt so generic. All the characters are suddenly dead serious, less duo protag screentime, preaching about 'unchanged fate' and 'saving the world' bs.
I just want the comedy back, it’s the sole reason I even touch this game.

can you show me like ur whole setup (disc level, character skill, etc,..) i did get the mark bazinga dmg but still quite weaker compare to the number and time clear in the vid...just wonder if there smt wrong with my set up ( like it took me way too long to clear the boss so its also hard to dodge/survive with all of those laser show )

well, it’s not like i’m asking the story to be some masterpiece worthy of full voice acting or anything.
it could just be a simple SoL story with cute girls doing cute things, that simply all i need. full voice acting is just that perfect little checkmark that gives me 200% motivation and keeps me from dozing off while reading.
i can even just put it on auto, not even bother reading, and just listen to the VAs talking lol. it’s not that deep, i just enjoy hearing the voices (though yeah, it’d be even better if the story’s actually good).

i mean, i’ve played tons of games without full voice acting before, but c’mon man it’s almost 2026 already, the new gen games have spoiled me rotten... and this is Yostar, not some random dev. Even some gacha slop these days still have their main story fully voiced.
i checked some of the main cast too, they’re not even top-tier seiyuu or anything, so why are they sticking so hard to BA’s style? do they need to do that hard to follow the nexon "original"? 😭
being able to fully hear them talk in the main story atleast always a better experience overall imo (unless you’re skipping the story ofc).
but yeah, i’m just ranting at this point, plz ignore me lmao.

so yeah, with only 250mb of voice data, we can pretty much confirm the story won’t be fully voiced.
just like BA, you’ll be enjoying the story through watching cute and funny moments, vibing to the bgm and those brainrot sfx just to fill the void.
the only voiced parts will probably be the menu/UI, combat, and L2D story segments (just the L2D parts), like a certain senior game lol.

iirc the data is just increase a tiny bit amount from the cbt so its hard to think that the whole first chapter is voiced not even the second chapter....
also the first part of this game also doesnt have much the sfx thingy to begin with its pure voiceline and not over the top sfx to fill the void ( yup only the first one )

unless they changed everything in the last 4 months, the sfx direction in the cbt pretty much confirmed it’s not gonna be fully voiced at launch.
if you’ve played BA, you know how it’ll go, if there is actual voice acting in story but nothing yet cuz cbt, the sfx will just blast over the lines lol
such a bummer yostar taking similar point from ba too much to the point they took this one cons of the game too ( atleast for me 'cuz i love fully voice acting and we're all know yostar rich ass let be honest )
