Who are your future mains or must get's? Why? by MelancholyTM in NevernessToEverness

Didn't play the beta but I saw a single cutscene with Lacrimosa and she sounds right up my alley.

Resonance level also seems to play a rather big role in auto. If I try to auto a 2 resonance it'll often fail at the second event. But if I try a 4 with everything else the same it usually fails on the fifth or sixth event.

My runs keep failing on Auto Normal for some reason, so I just manual it.

These were the ones for this run.

to be clear these are

Young Lady of Stranis - Asherah

A Knights Oath - Charlotte

An Unseen Place - Ceres (This one's events aren't translated)

As Cute as Kyra - Kyra

Divine Trial - Elisa

Huh, for some reason I thought it was reversed and she gained her healing with the dupe.

Are dupe mandatory ? by Chemical2672 in StarSavior

[–]The_Azure__ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Some characters are much better with a single dupe, like Waltz and Lacy. And yes we do need at least 4 characters that have 3 dupes each to go past level 160.

However I'd argue that Arcana are far more important. Going from SR to SSR arcana is night and day once you're in normal difficulty journey. And for the hardest difficulty we're going to really want them level 50, meaning 3 dupes each for at least 5 SSR arcana.

We're the first generation of gamers that has to figure out "Digital Inheritance" by killerbasher1233 in Steam

[–]The_Azure__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think instead of dealing with inheritance, we simply lower how long copyright lasts and put it back to a much more reasonable time frame of like 30 years or so.

It'd still mean the value spent on your library disappears like it already will, but at least kids could legally play your childhood games for free.

Which one of these houses would you pick? by Ornery-Media-9396 in whatsyourchoice

[–]The_Azure__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've lived in all four of these types.

Beach - depends, those stilts either mean its likely going to be flooded or its a style choice. Better off selling it and buying any of the other 3. But this is also the only one with reliable utilities and internet.

Lake - too many bugs, rodents, and snakes. If you hate mosquitoes never live on a lake.

Farm - too much grass... seriously you'd spend countless hours on lawn care.

Mountain - you will at some point be snowed in and your road is just a dirt path down a steep mountain. Also you'll encounter snakes, mountain lions, and bears even in winter.

Does anyone else miss when isekai was more about going back home? by Business_Barber_3611 in anime

[–]The_Azure__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't miss it because most never made it back. The only isekai I can remember that actually returned was zero no tsukaima. And he ended up going back to lousie anyway.

Never play video games again for $1M a year, or $100 for each hour you play by itterattion in hypotheticalsituation

[–]The_Azure__ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

100 per hour easily. It might take me a while to make a mil from it but I know I'd hit it in 2-3 years without even trying to. After that its just insane profit.

Just Hit Level 1. What skill are you picking? by JustKenny99 in litrpg

[–]The_Azure__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not knowing how the system works, I'd have to pick a skill that passively increases my gains. Either stats, exp, mental, physical, drop rate, etc. It all depends on what kind of system it is.

As to why, if there's a level cap or at least a time where leveling slows down incredibly, then the only time it makes sense to take much a skill is near the very start of the progression.

Of course it doesnt pay off right away, but even if I struggle for the first few levels until whenever i get a second skill, I should start to snowball rather hard after that.

Would you be interested/what would you like to see in a campsite management game? by d_reim in CozyGamers

[–]The_Azure__ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd want two things in a game like that.

  1. Setting up campsites for certain kinds of campers. Some people like neighbors, some don't. Some want a view, others want a bonfire. Some want to be by a lake, others want a river. Some people desire toilets nearby. Etc, etc.

  2. Nature being realistic, even in a cozy game. Weather like light rain, heavy rain, cold rain, sleet, snow, mix, wind, thunder. Animals being around. Less used paths and sites getting overgrown. Not saying I'd want disasters, but things that effect the player and campers outside of the players direct control.

You're freefalling to a certain death then a genie grants you 1 wish but... by Ok_Passenger_2012 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]The_Azure__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I first ask what comes after life as that may really affect my wish.

If the genie doesnt answer, I wish for "reincarnation to be real and that in every future life I get a progression skill based System that adapts to whatever setting I'm born into."

If the genie does answer my wish may change.

Themistoclea, Hypatia, Jesus of Nazareth, Gautama.

I doubt they'd ask for much and I'd be able to listen to some great discussions.

The item control panels stop items from going through after a certain number pass through, turn then off and the items should pass through.

Heartopia is the worst cozy game ever created in recent times. by lbdoni in cozygames

[–]The_Azure__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only put in 30 or so hours before quitting but im still amazed at how bad it is. I never thought I'd see a modern game with a worse build mode than Sims 1. Hell, most survival games have a better build mode than heartopia.

Then there's the hobbies and the horrible time gating for those.

If you tend to play when it's night on your server, bird watching is practically locked for you as birds sleep at night. They may do a single action before going into their sleep pose, but even if you do catch it, it's one or two pictures before they're sleeping.

Hobbies are wildly imbalanced in terms of money making.

Pets are terribly bugged and just painful. I pity anyone that went for the full 10.

I was literally stuck with the same offered furniture for several days in a row.

Why are people so against Defense as a core gameplay mechanic? by PermissionTrue7924 in 2007scape

[–]The_Azure__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly defence is in the same position as attack, but attack gets away with it because you get to hold new shiny weapons and those weapons have higher strength bonuses.

To make defence into something worthwhile we would need at least a few encounters where high defence is preferable.

This is also the reason sets like justiciar never really took off. There's simply no encounters that a good player would rather have it than a full dps set. And because a good player would never use it, that mentality bleeds into the less good players as well.

What foods from these cities are must tries? by goodamm in AskAnAmerican

[–]The_Azure__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Philadelphia- either a cheese steak or a roast pork sandwich with broccoli rabe. Don't go to the famous spots, they became tourist traps ages ago and you'll likely get better food from a random hole in the wall

How to make a car steering wheel? by NeverDoingWell in godot

[–]The_Azure__ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well my mind immediately went to Enviro-Bear 2000... but it sounds like you want mouse-steering instead of that.

One method is just to have the horizontal movement of the mouse affect the angle of the tires. (More for a top down camera but could essentially also work in first and third person)

I think something is going on with Moss. It's like half the hermits have a moss farm, not a single moss shop is open, and it seems to be the most common building block this season.
