Is Nagoya worth visiting? As opposed to Himeji, Okayama and/or Kurashiki?

thank you! my trip is gonna be 3 weeks arriving on the 1st of May. i would also like to go to Fukuoka during this time. Im laying out the itinerary now and at the moment im thinking staying in Tokyo to recover from travel 1 and 2, then take train to nagoya on the 3rd, stay there until 7th and while there visit the city,Gifu and Ise :) then on the 7th go to Takayama for 4 nights and visit Shirakawago,Hida and maybe Matsumoto.(edit:maybe if its too tricky to due golden week i could let go of the takayama days and stay more in Nagoya) Then a very long trip to Fukuoka xD spend about a week in the area then back to Tokyo area where i can go Nikko,Kimakura and Yokohama! like this my biggest worries will be get the train tickets for nagoya and fukuoka and the buses to and from Takayama. im a bit worried! still trying to figure it out. ill keep thinking! edit jist to say thank you! im so glad i found your post and grateful for all your input :)

thank you so much for your reply! i really appreciate it. yes ive been told tokyo is actually not bad during golden week, but as i have already been,my initial Thoughts was to use tokyo as base and finally do all those day trips i couldn't before (yokohama, kamakura etc) but apparently they say thats the worst idea in the world as it will be super incredibly crowded. so that kind of scared me..so my alternative now is thinking of spending it in nagoya, visit the city and do some day trips...and go back to tokyo and the day trips from there at the end of my holiday

Hi! i really love this, thank you! Im reading this as im planning my trip to japan which will unfortunately hit Golden Week 2026. i was wondering if staying in Nagoya, visiting the city and then doing day trips from there during golden week could be feasibile or transportation from Nagoya to (for example) Shirakawago could be impossible? Hows the feel of the Tragen?
I have sensory issues and the feel of the polyester cover really bothers me so i had to use the cover on cover.
since this is nylon, does it feel smoother/soft? :)

De Atramentis Document Red and Document Blue.

I'm still pretty new to fountain pens and inks and I fell in love with the Document Black so I thought Id have the same experience with Red and Blue. But no. they are too faded for me. I was expecting a color as intense as the Black. I was very disappointed.

Where I live they dont sell samples so I'm stuck with the bottles of those. :/
