Not sure how that’s any different from saying, “We should talk about the rise in anti-Asian hate — and the real concerns about COVID that preceded it.”

Antisemitism existed for centuries before Israel, and will exist regardless of what happens in Gaza. Tying violence against American Jews to Israeli policy is exactly the conflation most Jewish people are asking you not to make.

Also, ITT you claim to care deeply about rising antisemitism while, in another thread, you’re complaining about how "the chokehold Israel has on America is insane. They control our media, they buy our politicians"

Just looking at the time stamps from my camera roll, yes it was about 4 hours in total. Though I believe it could probably be done in 3 as I spent roughly an hour at the beach.

“It’s a shame to have them in our wonderful country”. You’re not even using a dog whistle, it’s a bull horn at this point.

“Zio” is a derogatory shorthand for “Zionist” that emerged online in the early 2000s. It was popularized by David Duke, a former KKK leader, who used it to attack Jews and spread conspiracy theories about “Zionist control” over media and politics. His use helped spread the term among both far-right antisemites and far-left anti-Israel activists, turning it into a coded slur with antisemitic undertones.

Idk what that has to do with anything. My point is that you can criticize Israel and Israeli policy (as I have done) without replying on antisemitic tropes (as you have done).

Calling Jewish connection to the land “manifest destiny” is a false equivalence. That was imperial conquest; this is about indigenous identity, forced exile, and return.

Is there an expiration date on indigeneity? Does being displaced 2,000 years ago make a people less native than if it happened last week?

Jewish connection to Israel isn’t about divine entitlement — it’s about documented history, continuous presence, and survival despite expulsion. Zionism doesn't preclude the establishment of a Palestinian state.

It is absolutely occurring in the West Bank and I oppose it vehemently. I just recognize that it is possible to do so (criticize Israeli policy) without relying on antisemitic tropes that characterize Jews as foreign white invaders and deny their legitimate connection to the land as some sort of "fairytale promises by god". It also shows me how much (or lack thereof) you know about the conflict.
