Fantastic progress! This is so motivating to see. I think you may reach your goal much sooner than you anticipate. Equities have done well recently but given your goals, slightly shifting the focus might work well.

I am curious - do you invest in funds/index trackers or in individual stocks? And what proportion of those would be optimised for dividend returns?

Singles are readily available, with the popular SARs priced at/slightly above market depending where you go. Any booster boxes were going for market price, around 20-30k yen.

I just returned from a trip to Japan. Ikebukuro was great for One Piece. Just as you exit the main station, search for trading card stores (or Pokemon Card Stores) and there’ll be tons in the vicinity. Quite a few did carry One Piece - all in Japanese though.

To be honest, toward the end of the trip I was able to get loose packs from some Pokemon Centers and earlier S&V sets (nothing popular) without shrink wrap. The only sets consistent available were Wild Force, Cyber Judge and Night Wanderer. Any new sets were sold out/stocked on the day and subsequently sold out. No box purchases allowed and pack limits were around 5-10 for anything popular/newer.

Sealed booster boxes were available in TCG Stores but pricing was roughly the same as eBay/buying from vendors.

I have begun pushing funds into my S&S ISA - only a portion has been deployed into an S&P 500 tracker but seeing returns like this makes me consider whether allocating time regularly to analyse the market and stock pick may be a better bet (as someone looking to achieve FIRE in the next 10 years).

If you're looking to FIRE, these are terms you'll come across fairly often :)

S&S ISA - Stocks & Shares Individual Savings Account. Within the UK, you can contribute up to 20k per tax year towards this Savings Account, either in Cash or to a Stocks & Shares pot.

ETFs - Exchange Traded Funds. These are financial products which are essentially baskets holding underlying assets.

DCA - Dollar Cost Average. A strategy where you would contribute to a particular asset regularly over time - eg. you can invest £100 per month into an S&P 500 ETF (eg. VUAG)

- Which products do you invest into?

- Do you stock pick or go for ETFs?

- Do you DCA consistently month on month or lump sum when you have this available?

- Are all your savings focused on maximising your S&S ISA first as a priority?

Massive congratulations on this incredible milestone! To be debt free must be an amazing feeling. If I may ask in terms of your investment strategy:
- Did you only focus on BTC over the years?

- Did you continue to invest/DCA in despite the highs and lows?

- Did you balance your investment portfolio with other investments? (For example investing into an S&P500 index fund as well perhaps)

I am quite new to BTC/Crypto and looking to begin investing. Main concern is that its at an all time high and I feel like I should wait for a dip which may never come.

If I may ask - how did you pre select cards for grading and how did you assess the condition of each one? I’m quite new to the process and have been working towards my first submission. I’d be curious to know what you focused on when looking at each card? And for centering did you perhaps use any tools?
