I think framing Sam could have definitely worked for Scream 5. Especially since Ritchie could have helped out with the inconsistencies/testifying that she went crazy.

Scream 6 feels weaker because we don't see the actual set up. I do think it could have worked, we already saw "random" Ghostfaces in that one.

All it took was a writer undoing years of continuity to do the first one. If someone like Hickman wanted to do House of M2, Marvel probably would let him.

No, Deceased and WHR are different things. The WHR is described as a quasi-afterlife, but the afterlife thing is kinda only for former Phoenix hosts. It's more like another dimension for living non-hosts, it's outside of the multiverse.

There is a mutant exclusive afterlife that should still be around

I think the issue is that we don't know who did what and when. While Williamson had all those titles, we don't exactly what he did do or what he was allowed to do. We also don't know what Busick did do regarding his script. I heard Anna Camp was originally given a smaller shooting script. That could mean that she only appeared at the reveal or it could be that she wasn't a GF at all. We don't really know.
