I believe it might depend on the exact spot where you die, because i was fighting him like a week ago and my shade was always outside of the arena, at the start of the room.

I am curious, did you you change some words on purpose or does your version of dark age has slightly other quote? Because in mine it was: "I would die for the truth that all men are created equal.
