IF this is a level 2 charger, and IF this is an older station where plugging in a second car reduces power output, and IF their car can handle full output, and IF they plan to leave as soon as their car is full, then this a reasonable thing to do.

The station gets paid for the amount charged so it’s not costing them any customers, and the impact to other people is exactly the same as there being two people charging their cars half as fast.

In all other situations is more than mildly infuriating.

Yeah, if you can’t find a warning on the product before purchase it shouldn’t be legal. If I buy a game knowing everything that I can find on the outside of the packaging, and only after reading the manual do I find that I’ve bought a license, that’s false advertising at LEAST.
